Terms of service
These terms apply when you create a workspace or use Mayfair MCT. By signing up you agree to them.
The service
Mayfair MCT is a web application for managing contacts, finances, stock, sales and related business information. We may improve, change or retire features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.
Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your workspace, including the people you invite.
- You must be at least 18 and have authority to bind your business.
Free trial and payment
When sign-ups open, new workspaces may start with a free trial. After any trial, editing requires a paid plan. Plans are billed monthly in GBP in advance through our payment provider. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires. If a trial ends or a subscription lapses, your workspace becomes read-only.
Plan limits
Each plan has limits on team seats, stored records and monthly assistant requests. We may restrict actions that exceed your plan's limits until you upgrade or reduce usage.
Your data
You own your data. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service. You can export it at any time. We handle it as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to access other workspaces, no disrupting the service, and no reselling access without our written agreement.
The assistant
Elizabeth uses artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Check important figures and actions before you rely on them. Outputs are not financial, legal or tax advice.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own backups of anything critical by using the export tool.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end a workspace that breaches these terms, after notice where reasonable.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Note: these terms are a plain-English starting point. Have them reviewed by a legal adviser before relying on them.
